New Format Quiz Night

One of the most popular events of the week is Quiz night the quizzes vary from week to week team numbers vary from 4 - 11, there are 2 cash prizes for first and second place and 2 special prizes for the last 2 teams.

The landlords supply free food for the evening this normally takes the shape of a selection of sandwiches and a bowl of chips for each team.

Prize money varies from £10 - £50 depending on the number of people taking part, each member of the team pay a £1.00 entry fee which at the end of the evening is split 66 33 between first and second place.

All the money taken for the quiz is paid out in prize money.

Play your Cards Right

By far the highlight of the evening is the play your cards right interval This is based on the TV series of the same name, the highest recorded prize for this section of the evening is £1400.00.

To enter play your cards right a raffle ticket is purchased for £1.00. Half way through the quiz 3 tickets are drawn and the lucky contestants have a chance to play your cards right. if the prize money is not won it rolls over to the following week.

All the money taken for play your cards right is paid out as Prizes.
